Training Programs

This training program is for runners and walkers of all abilities who would like to train for the Fleet Feet Sports Lady Distance Classic 5K/10K Run/Walk.  We will offer a novice and advanced training option for both the 5K and the 10K events. The Women’s Only Program is $100 per person (this INCLUDES entry for The Lady Distance Classic which is $30). Workouts will be held on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at Fleet Feet Sports with optional workouts on Tuesday and Thursday nights.         

By joining the Training Program you will receive the following:

·          A weekly training schedule to follow.

·          Experienced coaches.

·          A participant workbook that includes educational information, training tips and more.

·          Weekly group workouts.

·          A moisture wicking training top & race hat.

·          Weekly emails that include training tips, information and inspiring words to train by.

·          Bi-weekly clinics & seminars.

·          A FREE injury assessment from Oxford Physical Therapy.

·          A fun, supportive environment to train to reach your personal running/walking goals!

As always, there are still opportunities to run or walk with a group!  Fleet Feet Sports hosts weekly Fun Runs & Walks on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 7:30 a.m.   These Fun Runs & Walks are open to folks running or walking at all levels and paces.  There is no charge.  Just plan to show up a few minutes early (you are welcome to change your clothes at the store if you are coming straight from work), leave your keys in our key box and head out for a run or walk with the group.
