Woman of the Week
Tracy Snyder Woman of the Week Tracy Snyder is a Parinatal Social Worker at Good Samaritan Hospital/Tri Health and is running with the Fleet Feet Sports Next Steps 10K training program. Tracy is originally from New Jersey and is now living in Loveland, OH. She has been married for almost 13 years to husband Michael, the official photographer for the Lady Distance Classic. Michael and Tracy have a daughter Madison and a son Zachary. One of their favorite past times is swimming at Kings Island. “Now that I have been running so much I have more energy to play outside with my kids and take them on walks. “ Tracy loves to run because, “ I have found that running really helps me to manage my stress, gives me the much needed ‘me time’ that I need after working full time and running after 2 kids ages 7 & 2. I also really love the sense of accomplishment after finishing a run (of any distance) and meeting the personal distance goals that I’ve been setting for myself. I started this training program with a great friend and it has been amazing going on this journey with her and I have also met a lot of fabulous women through this program which has been amazing.” To every woman or girl running to the 2011 Lady Distance Classic, Tracy says “It doesn’t matter what distance you do or how quickly you do it, if you are first across the finish line or last - The accomplishment is in finishing and it’s one of the most gratifying feelings ever!! And of course, enjoy it because it’s FUN!” Make sure to cheer on Tracy as she runs the 2011 Lady Distance Classic 10K!
