Regular physical activity throughout a woman’s life is associated with a decreased risk of heart disease & stroke; certain cancers, including colon & breast cancer; and prevention & control of high blood pressure.

Becoming more active can help women to lose weight and possibly prevent or reduce the effects of diabetes. 62% of American women are considered to be overweight. 8% of women have Diabetes.
